SERMON - Psalm 32’s True Subject: Jesus, Not You

In this episode the preacher reads Psalm 32 and contrasts the common, self-focused interpretation with a Christ-centered reading. Drawing on Jesus, Peter, and Acts, he argues the psalm points to the Messiah who bore sin, was vindicated in resurrection, and fulfilled God’s law on our behalf.

Seeing the psalm as about Christ preserves the gospel: His righteousness is imputed to believers, preventing us from making our own obedience the hinge of salvation, and calling us to live in gratitude, faithful suffering, and joy as recipients of his finished work.
