The New Huskers (with Maggie Porter and Taylor Kretz)

As the 2026 Junior Gold Championships wrapped up in the Twin Cities, most athletes headed back home. But two, highly-regarded freshmen headed right to Lincoln, Nebraska to study and get ready for their NCAA bowling debut.

Taylor Kretz and Maggie Porter both had top ten finishes in Minnesota, and they’re hoping to help Head Coach Paul Klempa and the Cornhuskers make a run to another national championship.

In this episode, Kretz discussed her start in the U18 Match Play bracket in Minnesota, and concerns she had about some of the circumstances in that first match.
