Welcome back, Sarangees! We are SO excited about Episode 14 of The Glory, because we're joined by the incredible Naomi Ko, an award-winning filmmaker, writer, comedian, and co-host of the Asians in Baseball podcast. Naomi grew up in Minnesota, and K-dramas were her connection to her heritage.  She gets into her all-time favorite dramas and sitcoms with us. We also dig into what "prestige" K-drama even means these days, and how Netflix and the big streamers are reshaping the local K-drama industry.

Then, we recap. And y'all…this one is STACKED.

Yeon-jin and the Detective Ajusshi spiral into full panic mode the second they clock that Myeong-oh's body has been found. Meanwhile, after that devastating apartment fire, Dong-eun FINALLY gets her mother locked away in a psych ward. Yeon-jin, ever the manipulator, works Jae-joon AGAIN, convincing him he's the only one left who can save her and Ye-sol (eyeroll). Jae-joon then turns around and blackmails Do-young into being Yeon-jin's alibi for the night of Myeong-oh's murder. And Yeon-jin's mom? She orchestrates an "accidental" hit-and-run with her mudang/shaman and the detective,  killing Hyun-nam's husband in the process.

We close on a shaman ritual, where Yeon-jin watches her mudang get possessed by So-hee's spirit,  and in a flashback, we FINALLY learn how and why Yeon-jin killed her.
