Count the Stars — Genesis 15 | Dave Miers

How can we be counted right with God—and how can we be sure? Abram looks up at the stars and takes God at his word, and God credits his faith as righteousness. Then God seals his promise with a covenant, taking responsibility for its fulfilment. These ancient promises find their fulfilment in Jesus, who was delivered for our sins and raised for our justification. Our confidence rests in the faithful Saviour who keeps his covenant and holds everyone who trusts in him.

✨ Count the Stars | Genesis 12–25 Series

📖 Genesis 15

🎙️ Preached by Rev Dave Miers at Christ our Refuge on 9 August, 2026

📝 Outline:
1/ GOD'S PROMISE RECEIVED BY FAITH
a/ The Promise - Genesis 15:1
b/ The Protest - Genesis 15:2-3
c/ The Response - Genesis 15:4-5
d/ The Resolution - Genesis 15:6 + Romans 4

2/ GOD'S PROMISE GUARANTEED BY COVENANT
a/ The Promise - Genesis 15:7
b/ The Protest - Genesis 15:8
c/ The Response - Genesis 15:9-17
d/ The Resolution - Genesis 15:18-21

🎥 Filmed and published by Good News Unlimited
⸻
🔗 Learn more or connect with us:

🌐 Christ our Refuge – a gospel-centred church in Brisbane, Australia, offering refuge, security, and hope in Christ - https://christrefuge.co

🌐 Good News Unlimited – exists to help everyday people see Jesus clearly in God’s word... so they can enjoy grace, life, and hope without limits - https://goodnewsunlimited.com

🙌 Subscribe for weekly sermons, biblical teaching, and gospel encouragement.
⸻
#goodnewsunlimited #seejesusclearly #christrefugeco #gospel #bibleteaching #sermon #Jesus
