Seize the Day? — Genesis 14 | Peter Judge-Mears
<p>Abram has just won an astonishing victory. He has rescued Lot, defeated powerful kings and returned with all the people and possessions they had taken. It looks like the perfect moment to seize the day—but Abram refuses to claim the rewards of victory. He trusts God to keep his promises rather than grasping for control. Jesus also refused the shortcut to glory and chose the way of the cross.
