In this special episode of Conversate, Bear takes the lead for a conversation about cycling, community, discipline, and the people who helped shape his own journey on two wheels. He sits down with the leadership of the Bonafide Riders Cycle Club to talk about how the Atlanta cycling club grew from just five riders in 2019 into a community built around consistency, safety, accountability, and pushing each other to get better.

Bear shares his own journey, from getting humbled on his first Bonafide ride to completing a 100 mile century ride in honor of his mother. The conversation explores the mental and physical side of cycling, what it takes to become a stronger rider, creating opportunities for new cyclists, and why finding the right community can transform what happens both on and off the bike.

The crew also looks ahead to the One Love Century, the annual Metro Atlanta Cycling Club event that brings thousands of cyclists together for a weekend of riding, fellowship, and support for youth cycling. The 20th anniversary One Love Century weekend takes place September 3 through September 7, 2026, with the main ride on September 5.
