Mark Rose is a singer, songwriter and guitarist best known as the frontman of Chicago emo and pop-punk band Spitalfield. Formed in 1998, the band became a staple of the early-2000s scene through albums like Remember Right Now, featuring fan favorites “I Loved the Way She Said L.A.” and “Those Days You Felt Alive.” After Spitalfield initially disbanded in 2007, Mark established himself as a solo artist and continued writing, recording and touring. Spitalfield has since reunited, releasing its first new music in nearly two decades with the 2025 EP *Play + Record
