740. Designing Inclusive and Equitable Public Services Through Participation (Finland). A talk with Annukka Svanda

<p><a href="https://www.aalto.fi/fi/ihmiset/annukka-pauliina-svanda" target="_blank" rel="ugc noopener noreferrer">Annukka Svanda</a> is a design researcher that has been working on service design in collaboration with the city of Espoo, in Finland. She is doing his doctoral studies in <a href="https://www.aalto.fi/en" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferer">Aalto University. </a>In this interview she tells us about the creation of a service in which she was involved to support highly educated immigrants in their search for jobs and about a future project on education. Employment services need a lot of design and care in countries like Finland where the unemployment rate of people with a foreign background was 16.7% in 2024. </p><p><br>This interview was done as part of the Government Design Finland weekly meetings.
