The Door Bearing My Mother's Name

Luna opens the locked door marked with her mother's name and enters a chamber of floating records — each a stolen voice. Inside, she meets an original copy of her mother who reveals the station's true nature: a living entity that feeds on voices. The only way to free the stolen is to destroy the master record, but doing so would erase Luna. As she wrestles with this choice, she discovers the mother copy is a trap. She finds a panel of names and merges her echo with the original voice, creating a new frequency that overloads the station. The room collapses, and she steps through a final door into a white void where a voice tells her she will become the station. Episode ends with Luna's hand on a microphone, the hum of static closing in.
