Coping With Sleep

We now know soooo much about sleep – how much we should be getting, how much we actually aren’t, the “multivolume fright compendium” of risks attached to not enough sleep, and the booming optimisation industry promising to fix it all. And yet the more we chase the perfect eight hours with all the right tools, the further away it seems to drift.

This week, Alice Griffin and Jannah Anderson pull apart our collective obsession with “fixing” sleep. We get into the viral TikTok bedtime routines engineered for peak rest, sleep as the latest optimisation frontier for the hustlers among us, and the people who simply can’t sleep – from chronic insomnia to the genetics of true short sleepers. If you don’t hear from us next week? Idk we’re probably sleeping.

☆ Flavour up your Dry July with Angostura Bitters.
