Ep. 102 What I Learned Writing & Directing My First Short Film!! (as a 23 y/o female filmmaker from Hawai'i lol)

Hi friends! This past weekend I got to direct my first ever short film! If you remember, back in November I won a $10k local film grant to produce a short film that I wrote through an organization called 'Ohina. We started pre-production in January and for the last nearly 8 months Shop Local has been my LIFE. In this episode I tell you all about how it felt, what I did to prep, and the (many) lessons I learned. This was one of the greatest experiences of my life, I can't WAIT to do it again, and a 25 min pod episode can't NEARLY sum it up- but I tried :) and I hope you guys enjoy!!
