AurallaurA – “The Critique of Capital: An Engaging Revue”

AurallaurA has just released a new record The Critique of Capital: An Engaging Revue. Thirteen songs, mostly originals, exploring themes of culture, relationship, and community.

Laura Chu Wiens has been making music for much of her life.  This is her second record, sharing her own compositions, invoking the cabaret of 1930s Shanghai.  These songs offer a juxtaposition of past and present that is engaging and thoughtful, while being musically exciting and culturally relevant.
