136: Who the Hell is Jake Lang? feat. Carrie Schreck

<p>We&#39;re back with another installment in our acclaimed &quot;Who the Hell?&quot; biographical series, this time turning our attention to <strong>Jake Lang</strong>: a January 6th insurrectionist turned self-styled provocateur who has built a career out of peddling hate against Muslims, Black people, Jews, women, and any other minority group he thinks he can hurt with open expressions of bigotry. </p><p>Jared and Mike are joined by photojournalist <a href="https://www.carrieschreck.com/about-2" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"><strong>Carrie Schreck</strong></a>, who has had multiple run-ins with Lang over the years, to trace his path from J6 &quot;political prisoner&quot; to his current gig manufacturing what PTI has dubbed &quot;confrontation porn&quot; — a genre built on shocking people face-to-face with blunt expressions of bigotry for clout and cash. </p><p>This episode also includes a reported package from Jared, who traveled to Minneapolis on Aug. 22 to witness Lang&#39;s most recent stunt, where Lang found himself on the wrong end of the law... and Spider-Man&#39;s fist.</p><p><em>Every Spider-Man villain, from Electro to Rhino, has an origin story.
