<p>Why are we constantly trying to optimize ourselves? In this episode, I look at how modern life encourages us to adapt to systems rather than question them. Employees optimize for promotions and performance reviews, while independent creators optimize for algorithms, clicks, followers, and engagement. Even after leaving the office, the logic of evaluation often remains. I also explore what happens when this mindset enters creative work: people search for the “right” titles, topics, styles, and opinions, only to become increasingly similar.
