This week we’re joined by friend of the show Mattie Lubchansky to talk about the epidemic of AI posters filling every small town, village and hamlet, and what it suggests about the state of local advertising today.

We try to figure out how to describe the aesthetic of AI posters, why their maximalism has become so ubiquitous, and  how they are offshoots of the “dead internet” - an online environment where things exist with no meaning, purpose or intended audience.
