Episode 38 | Hummingbirds Don't Disappear in a Storm

What a single hummingbird taught me about timing, change, and how fast summer goes by.

Hummingbirds—particularly the ruby-throated variety—are among the most intriguing seasonal indicators. These tiny birds arrive on the East Coast in April, staying through the summer and often lingering until early October.

A rainstorm in August, and I find a hummingbird enjoying the rain, not escaping it. And Episode 38 evolved from that moment.
