132: “Faith It Til Ya Make It”
After my daughter’s declaration that she doesn’t like the idea of “faking it,” and later hearing the incomparable Dr Cheryl Wood say this familiar phrase a different way, I felt a shift in my perspective and motivation.
I’ve always understood the intent of “fake it til ya make it,” but much like my wise 15 year old felt reservations about this often-used expression, I too questioned if “faking it” was the way to go, when the desire is to grow. When I heard Dr Cheryl reframe it using “faith” as the driving force behind “making it,” that resonated so much more for me!
I’m curious what you think about the difference in “fake” & “faith,” when it comes to intentional growth.
