This is a replay of my episode from last year – but it’s information is timeless, so I decided I needed to air this again. Even if you listened to it last year, I encourage you to listen to it again because we need to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives for our freedom.

Memorial Day is often seen as the unofficial start of summer. But the true meaning of Memorial Day is something very different. I want to talk about it – as I consider PATRIOTISM a “foundational value” which is a cornerstone of my podcast. It is a “timeless truth” that we all should know and understand. It is the day to honor our fallen soldiers – who gave their lives for our freedom. For veterans, it's a chance to honor those who are no longer here. We can never repay them for laying down their lives for us – but we can remember them this day.
