<p>Our inaugural Writing Forward guest is Barrett Swanson: <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://harpers.org/author/barrettswanson/" target="_blank"><i>Harper's Magazine</i> contributor</a>, author of the essay collection <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.counterpointpress.com/books/lost-in-summerland/" target="_blank"><i>Lost in Summerland</i></a>, and assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
