While technically considered anarcho punk, RP was far stranger and musically unpredictable--a direction spearheaded by singer/guitarist Nick Blinko. Blinko also produces the band's album art, giving them a brilliant and inimitable signature. While Peni's music has gotten far less adventurous in recent years, their mark as one of the most unique bands of all time remains.
