Who doesn’t remember their favorite teacher? These days educators have more responsibility for their students’ wellbeing and welfare, often to the point that they neglect their own mental and physical health. A middle school music teacher, Jen Rafferty, PhD overcame anxiety attacks and near-burnout to become the "Empowered Educator” with a mission to help teachers coast-to-coast embrace their self-care, avoid burnout and rekindle their passion for the education system and the classroom.
