Josh Martens talks with Aidan Grogan of City Journal and Young Voices about his Civitas Outlook piece on Gen Z, liberty, and the pull toward strongman politics. Grogan says Zoomers on the socialist left and the groyper right share a habit: burn the old rules, then let somebody impose the new ones.

Key beats: 39% of Gen Z say political violence is at least sometimes justified. Nick Fuentes says he is not a small-government conservative and talks up a Caesar-like figure. Housing costs, COVID-era lies, and a Social Security system headed toward insolvency in 2033 make "just get it done" sound better than property rights and constitutional limits.
