The Journey: Travel Light
As we finish The Journey: Walking with Jesus, Matthew Wright asks a simple
but challenging question: What do I actually need to take with me?
In Mark 6, Jesus sends His disciples out with very little—teaching them
that they had enough to obey, but not enough to become dependent on what
they carried. Following Jesus doesn’t require us to have every answer,
every resource, or every step figured out before we move.
But traveling light doesn’t mean traveling empty. Jesus calls us to take up
our cross and follow Him. The goal isn’t to carry nothing; it’s to carry
what matters.
The challenge may end. The miles may end. The series may end. But the
journey doesn’t.
So as we keep walking with Jesus, the question remains:
