Through a personal testimony about forgetting to give $20 to a couple at the ER, I learned about immediate obedience—when GOD speaks once, isn't He enough that we just obey? Using EXODUS 19:5, JEREMIAH 7:23, ISAIAH 1:19, and JOHN 5:30, I unpack the difference between willing obedience and grudging compliance. Every day we choose: will we be like Jonah, obeying with bitterness, or will we joyfully lay down our lives? This is the key to the open door—willing obedience.
