#124 Just Chillin' and Bitchin'

<p>The guys kick things off with whiskey pouring, sugar-free Mountain Dew, brutal heat, a long 2/0 copper wire pull, sticky deep-fryer tables, and a couple of listener shoutouts. Greg sends in a show recommendation with The Capture and offers up a traffic-clearing superpower, while Casey H. recommends Peaky Blinders, which leads Jason and John into a quick talk about Cillian Murphy, Sons of Anarchy, and old-school gangster TV.</p><p><br></p><p>From there, things bounce exactly the way an ISAW episode should. John brings up the latest Fauci conversation and the guys talk pardons, congressional hearings, and why they still have no use for the guy. Jason explains that he has become his wife’s “weed butler,” John defends Domino’s, Jason gives an update on the KFC bowl disappointment, and then the guys get into beat-up old trucks, farm rigs, homemade flatbeds, flying bed liners, and vehicles that probably should be on the trailer they’re towing.</p><p><br></p><p>The episode also hits the Sherwin-Williams “Cover the Earth” logo, questionable business logos, Grease Monkey Garage, new drivers white-knuckling through turns, driver training, motorcycle tests, John’s daughter taking her driving test in an R/T Charger, and why learning to drive different-sized vehicles actually matters.</p><p><br></p><p>Then the guys go off on bad drivers, especially Illinois drivers. Jason officially calls them “Chi Clowns,” John tells a near-miss story from 35W, and the guys talk about blind spots, lane changes, road rage, Dallas traffic, Chicago traffic, and people who do something stupid behind the wheel and still somehow think they’re the victim.</p><p><br></p><p>The episode wraps with toaster settings, Pop-Tarts, Eggos, “Leggo My Eggo,” a future episode idea about company slogans, and John’s career-level hatred of universal fittings.
