<p>Just three years ago, Anna Maria Gilbert — better known as Footpegs — had never ridden a motorcycle. Eight months after getting into riding she was already discovering the world of off-road, and now she's preparing for her biggest challenge yet: a multi-day rally raid across Morocco.<br /><br />And she's doing it while living with Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (PoTS) and hypermobility.<br /><br />In this episode of the JUSTRIDE Podcast, Anna joins us alongside Adam to talk about her rapid journey into motorcycling, discovering adventure riding, learning to ride off-road and why she seems incapable of saying no to a challenge.<br /><br />But there's a much bigger reason behind her upcoming Morocco adventure.<br /><br />After spending years knowing something wasn't quite right and eventually receiving her PoTS diagnosis, Anna is using the rally to raise money and awareness for PoTS UK — helping support others who may still be fighting to be heard or searching for answers.<br /><br />Anna is refreshingly realistic about the challenge.
