After receiving a thoughtful question from a listener, I found myself exploring something I'd never really spoken about before.

When we work with spirit, why do mediums so often describe "a gentleman" or "a lady"?

Is that what spirit really are... or is it simply the easiest way for us as humans to recognise them?
