Every travel baseball program can tell you why it's a good program.

That doesn't mean it's the right program for your son.

One of the biggest mistakes families make when choosing a team is starting with the program:

Who are the coaches?

Where do they play?

How many college commitments do they have?

What tournaments are on the schedule?

What does it cost?

Those questions matter.

But there's a more important question that needs to come first:

What exactly are we trying to accomplish for our son?
