John List: The Stepfather (2009)

Our second John List title is Nelson McCormick's 2009 remake, The Stepfather starring Dylan Walsh and (often shirtless) Penn Badgley.

It's bigger and longer and gender swaps the teen character...but curiously doesn't do anything with the newfound male energy.

Plus: queer connections; questioning Walsh's casting; and joking about how 2000s era this film is.
