REMEMBERING ANDY "THE BUTCHER" WILLIAMS, NXT RELEASES, TERRIBLE WWE TV WEEK | TNT #163

It's a slow news week in the world of Pro Wrestling, and both AEW and WWE didn't do anything at all to make any of it exciting this week.

WWE held Sunday Night's Main Event in Atlanta, with Randy Orton taking on Cody Rhodes. Did WWE tease a heel turn for Cody Rhodes? What happens next with Randy Orton that he got the win over Cody? Also, Oba Femi and Bron Breakker battled for the "Future of WWE"...and Bronson Reed threw his name into that discussion Sunday night.

WWE is heading into Mexico City with two major World Championship matches next week. CM Punk defends the WWE Championship against Sami Zayn, and Roman reigns defends the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Penta. CM Punk has awoken Johnny Gargano from his slumber after 6 months of laying on boxes. Jey Uso gets into with Andrade on social media over Mexican and Samoan talent. TKO Head Mark Shapiro claims the company "resized" talent contracts. NXT releases happened this week, mostly with Evolve and LFG talent. And Jon Moxley gets Will Ospreay at AEW ALL OUT in the weirdest way to announce a Main Event all year.

We also pay respects to Andy Williams, Bill Dundee, and Cody's Pharaoh who passed away this week.
