11-1: One Juror Is Holding the Clancy Jury Hostage | 9/4/264 sep1 u 41 min

Lindsay Clancy’s lawyer just said the quiet part out loud. After six days and about 36 hours, the jury is still stuck — and Kevin Reddington says one juror “refuses to listen to the law.” The judge even framed it as one juror against the other 11. That is 11-1. Watch this first. Twice the panel told Judge William Sullivan they could not agree. He sent them back. He read the dynamite charge. Then the forewoman’s note pointed to a holdout who would not follow the reasonable-doubt instruction. Reddington asked the judge to remove that juror. Sullivan said no — he would not “side with one juror or the 11.” He asked each of them if they could follow the law, defined reasonable doubt again, and sent them home for a seventh day.

Should a juror who will not follow the law stay on this panel? If this ends 11-1 and a mistrial, do you call that justice — or a stall?
