<p>## The Scott Adams School — Thursday, August 27, 2026</p><p><br></p><p>Today we welcome back a **Scott Adams School favorite, philosopher extraordinaire Stefan Molyneux!**</p><p><br></p><p>We never quite know where a conversation with Stefan is going to take us, which is exactly why we love having him here.</p><p><br></p><p>Today we want to explore **philosophy and persuasion**. Do the two work together? Does philosophy need persuasion in order to spread good ideas, or should a sound philosophical argument be able to stand entirely on its own? And what happens when the most persuasive argument isn’t necessarily the most philosophically sound one?</p><p><br></p><p>We’ll also ask Stefan about his upcoming **Word War Debate**, including the intriguingly titled **“God vs. God?”** matchup, what exactly he’ll be debating, how he’s preparing for it, and how you can watch or attend.</p><p><br></p><p>And then, naturally, we’ll see where the conversation takes us. With Stefan, making a rigid agenda seems almost philosophically indefensible anyway.</p><p><br></p><p>### A reminder about our chat</p><p><br></p><p>We **love an engaged chat**.
