This week marks one year since Charlie Kirk’s brutal murder at Utah Valley University. From the start, many radicals took to the internet in celebration of his death, and many wondered, heartbroken, what a world without Charlie would look like. Allie revisits how she learned of his death and looks at the past year since he has been gone: the truth, the trial, conspiracy theories, and, ultimately, his legacy. Allie also shares the impact that Charlie had on her career and voice in the conservative movement and the personal encouragement that he generously offered to so many. As the internet continues to fill with videos celebrating the “Kirkaversary” and mocking his name, Allie looks at why this hatred should actually be a source of encouragement to Christians. Many are asking who will take up Charlie's mantle, but the reality is that no one will ever be able to replace who he was: the fearless American patriot, eloquent debater, broadcaster, political advocate, husband, father, and friend. Allie looks at the revival his death brought to the country with the surge of Bibles sold as well as rise in men attending church. Charlie ran the race put before him, and now he is in the presence of the one he loved best and worked so hard to share with others. Allie encourages believers that despite the growing confusion and darkness in the wake of his murder, they must follow Charlie’s example and continue with confidence, speaking the truth boldly and treating people with kindness and respect.
