Reaction: Saints trim active roster to 53

The New Orleans Saints have their initial 53-man roster for the 2026 season after making a number of cuts and other moves Sunday. Jordyn Tyson and Jaylan Ford are on IR with designation to return.

Devin Neal and Michael Heldman are on season-ending IR. Both backup quarterbacks are on the roster. Two kickers — Daniel Carlson and Tanner Brown — are both on the roster, too.
