Julia Tocheri's career launched after university when she joined TSN's BarDown team, where she created digital content, hosted live events, and provided coverage of the CHL and Memorial Cup for TSN. She also covered PWHL and International Women's Hockey for TSN. Tocheri quickly established herself in Canadian sports media, notably as the co-host of Leafs Lunch on TSN 1050 from 2021-2023, making her one of the few women in Canada to anchor a position in all-sports radio.
