<p>In this Sleepy Scriptures One-Year Bible episode, we continue through the book of Ezekiel with chapters 24 through 30 from the King James Version.</p><p>The reading begins on the very day the siege of Jerusalem commences. Through the image of a boiling pot, Ezekiel announces that the long-promised judgment has arrived. Then the prophet himself is given a deeply personal sign when his wife dies, and he is instructed to bear his grief in an unusual way before the people.</p><p>Ezekiel’s attention then turns outward. Ammon, Moab, Edom, Philistia, Tyre, Sidon, and Egypt each receive prophetic words.
