Tequila Cayeya Blanco Review: Hype or Hidden Gem? | First Taste
Tequila Cayeya Blanco Review: Hype or Hidden Gem? | First Taste
Can a tequila with an incredible bottle actually deliver an incredible tequila?
Today, I’m tasting **Cayeya Blanco** for the first time to find out if this beautifully crafted bottle is a true **hidden gem** or simply more hype than substance.
Cayeya Blanco is currently produced at **NOM 1424, Destiladora de Agave Azul**, in San Juanito de Escobedo, with **Xandra Gomez** as the master distiller. Made with 100% Blue Weber Agave from the Valley region, this tequila follows a traditional production approach while putting a strong focus on sustainability.
In this first-time tasting, we explore:
100% Blue Weber Agave
Traditional masonry oven cooking
⚙️ Roller mill extraction
Fermentation in stainless steel tanks
Deep-well water from the distillery
Double distillation
Unaged Blanco tequila at 40% ABV
