Auburn football beat Baylor, but the Tigers left Week 1 with one massive question that needs an answer against Southern Miss: what happened to the running game?

Baylor deserves credit. Their defensive line was better than many Auburn fans expected, and Dave Aranda spent the offseason talking about how much that group had improved. Byrum Brown carried the football 21 times for just 27 yards against Baylor. Auburn cannot rely on Brown to do everything offensively. This roster has playmakers, including Jeremiah Cobb and Bryce Cain, who can help take pressure off the quarterback. The Tigers have to find ways to consistently get those weapons involved.
