School Daze (1988)

<p>School Daze is a 1988 musical comedy-drama directed by Spike Lee that takes place at a fictional historically Black college, Mission College.</p><p>The story follows <strong>Dap Dunlap</strong>, a politically active student who becomes increasingly frustrated with the school&#39;s social divisions, particularly between students involved in activism and the more socially focused fraternity and sorority crowd. At the center of the conflict is the rivalry between the <strong>Gamma Phi Gamma fraternity</strong> and the <strong>Gamma Rays sorority</strong>, whose members are caught up in status, appearance, and campus politics.</p><p>As homecoming approaches, tensions surrounding <strong>colorism, class, Greek life, identity, relationships, and Black consciousness</strong> boil over.
