א) ברכת ה' ד"ברכנו אבינו" הוא כש"כולנו כאחד", ובודאי לא ידקדק ה' עד כמה הוא ה"כולנו כאחד" כי בפנימיות הלב רוצה בזה כל אחד!; סיום ימי סליחות צ"ל בשמחה גדולה שפורצת כל הגדרים ופועלת הרחבה כפשוטה בכל הענינים ונצחון גמור על היצה"ר וכו'. ב) ביום ג' דסליחות היו הרביים אומרים מאמרים ביחידות, החל מאדה"ז שחזר מאמר "רק לבנו המיוחד" ועד"ז שאר הרביים וכו', וכל אחד צווה שהענין יישאר בסוד, וכן אמר אדמו"ר (הרש"ב) נ"ע לבנו כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר שהענין יישאר בסוד "עד הזמן שיצווה לגלות", וברשימה בשנת תש"ה בהיותו בארה"ב גילה ענין זה! וא"כ מובן יוקר הענין וכו', והטעם שענין זה מסופר שם בפרטיות עם שמות כל הנשיאים י"ל כי לפני ראש השנה רצוי להזכיר בפירוש שמות כל הנשיאים וכו'. ג) יש להיכנס לתוך שנה החדשה מתוך ריקוד ושמחה אמיתית ופנימית! (והתחיל לנגן "כי בשמחה תצאו וגו'").

Synopsis

(1) “Bless us our Father” occurs when we are “all as one,” and Hashem is surely not exacting with the extent to which we are all as one, because deep down, every Jew wants to unite with the entire Jewish people. The Days of Selichos must be concluded with great joy, which breaks through all barriers, and brings abundance in all matters and total victory over the yetzer-hara etc. (2) On the third day of Selichos, the Rebbeim would deliver a maamar in private to their eventual successor, and they instructed them to keep it a secret, until the Rebbe Rashab told his son, the Rebbe, my father-in-law, to keep it a secret until such time as he instructed him to reveal it. The Rebbe ultimately revealed it in a Reshimah in the year 5705, meaning his father instructed him to reveal it when the Rebbe was already in the United States; we can therefore understand the preciousness of the matter etc. When recounting this in the Reshimah, the Rebbe, my father-in-law lists all the Rebbeim by name. It can be explained that the purpose was to explicitly invoke the merit of them all in the days before Rosh Hashanah. (3) We should enter the new year with dancing and true, inner joy. (The Rebbe concludes with the niggun Ki Vesimcha Setze’u).
