The medical center under Trump’s ballroom

Twenty-four hours before the White House announced Trump’s ballroom, the administration gathered more than sixty healthcare and technology companies to begin building a new national health-data system. A year later, Trump says the ballroom sits over an integrated military complex containing a hospital and medical facilities.

The Supreme Court has allowed construction to continue while it considers the case. I went through the court filings, architectural drawings, CMS code, and Trump’s own statements to understand what they are building, how they are paying for it, and what Congress can still do.
