Jeremy traces the rot back to its source: George Whitefield and the Great Awakening, Bill Hybels and Willow Creek's "unchurched Harry," the 2007 REVEAL study that proved the model failed, and the audience capture that turned pulpits into comment sections. Then he takes on the other error — Christian nationalism, integralism, Adrian Vermeule, Stephen Wolfe, and "measured theocratic Caesarism" — and argues the Constitution didn't fail us. We failed it.

The alternative is neither retreat nor theocracy: a church courageous enough to make Christians, Christians courageous enough to govern themselves, and citizens courageous enough to govern their country.
