Current Time
There are times in our lives when we just need to stop and change direction.
I just did that.
Not because I was on the wrong path or wanted something different.
I changed the direction because I learned something about the mechanics of the flow of content in my universe. That discovery left me no other choice but to test it myself on my own content.
Time will tell if it was a genius decision or a useless one.
Over the last few years, I published content in the same way. My routine process started with an idea, went through writing about it, and ended with a podcast.
I never put much thought into why that flow stuck with me, but if I had to guess, it probably connected to the new tools that flooded my feeds across social media. Some tools stayed with me while others didn’t, and the ones that survived created a structure that lasts.
Looking back, that was the evolution of how I create content. Once the creation process is done and all forms of content are released to the world, they are out of my hands. From that point, I’m handing my content to the internet and all the systems out there to process it.
In this episode, I changed the direction of my content creation and started with the podcast first. I let NotebookLM lead the way by giving it the accumulated evidence of The Liat Show and asking it to explore what it sees.
The podcast conversation came first. Only after listening to it several times and digesting it did I write this text.
