Ep. 149 | Deuteronomy Pt. 8

<p>In <strong>Deuteronomy Pt. 8</strong>, we begin looking at the Deuteronomic Law Code and what it reveals about the heart and character of God. Deuteronomy 12 shows us that the order of our worship matters, not because God is interested in empty ritual, but because worship must be shaped by who God is. Deuteronomy 13 then presses deeper, showing that the order of our lives will determine the order of our worship.</p><p>This message explores how God’s people can drift from truth when we give authority to ability over obedience, prioritize relationships over revelation, or allow culture to define the order of our lives. Jesus fulfills and reframes these commands, calling His people not to destroy others, but to take up the cross, surrender their own lives, and follow Him.</p><p>The church is not expected to be perfect, but we are called to discern and deal with sin faithfully, both individually and corporately.
