Discussing D.C.-Based Punk Band American Television's New Album Scars with Steve & Bryan

<p>Hello and welcome to the Powered By Rock podcast where I am going to be speaking with Steve and Bryan of the Washington D.C.-based punk band American Television today. </p>

<p>The band has been releasing music since 2013, and their 2016 debut EP “Reaction” was a bombastic introduction onto the scene.</p>

<p>The band has put out another EP called “Adolescence” back in 2021 as well as a full-length in 2020 called <em>Watch It Burn</em>, and even better, they just released their brand new sophomore LP called <em>Scars</em> on September 22nd, and it is absolutely killer.</p>

<p>The album reminds me soundwise of The Copyrights last album <em>Alone in a Dome</em> which anyone who listens to this podcast may know won the 2021 Punk Album of the Year from the Powered By Rock Awards…so, that is some very high praise.</p>

<p>They also have a very cool video for their song “Bittersweet” that I am excited to play for you during the show today. So stay tuned for that.</p>
