Las Vegas Host, Announcer & Philanthropist Mark Shunock Talks About His Charity Mondays Dark and Supporting Local Music

<p>Hello and welcome to the Powered By Rock podcast where I am going to be speaking with Canadian-born, Las Vegas legendary host, announcer, actor, and philanthropist Mark Shunock today. </p>

<p>Mark has played Timon in the Lion King on Broadway, been a born and bred hockey goalie from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, he has raised literally millions of dollars for charity, has excited thousands of both hockey and boxing fans here in Vegas as In-Arena announcer for the Stanley Cup Champion Vegas Golden Knights and as the host of Top Rank Boxing on Friday Nights, and he has helped cultivate music and performing arts in Las Vegas through his venue called The Space where musicians both national and local have performed in the state-of-the-art multi-purpose event space.</p>

<p>If you live in Vegas, you have almost certainly seen his face, and I am glad I finally have the chance to have a conversation with him about all of his contributions to this city and help in supporting Las Vegas’ DIY music scene. </p>
