Beautiful, Pam (2026) follows a Queer sex-worker, named Pam, in the midst of a mid-life crisis during the week of their son’s 18th birthday.

This 63-minute film is the creation of the ultra-talented J.R. Stokes, his second feature length project. I sat down to talk with J.R. about his backstory, his New York roots, and about all the things that go into pulling off a great independent film like Beautiful, Pam.
