A Fortune Teller Designed This Home?! & Hulu's "My Grandfather Charles Manson" | Uploft Interior Design
In this episode of the Uploft Interior Design, I explored how interior design goes far beyond choosing furniture and colors by sharing real-life client stories that highlighted the importance of embracing change and working within constraints. I talked about designing a home around unique feng shui-inspired requirements, helping longtime homeowners adapt to new chapters in life, and encouraging clients to see their homes as partners with both strengths and limitations. I also reflected on how thoughtfully designed spaces can support personal growth during major life transitions, such as divorce or downsizing. To wrap up the episode, I reviewed Hulu's My Grandfather, Charles Manson, explaining why I found the documentary more focused on the filmmaker's personal journey than on its intriguing premise, leaving me less impressed than I expected.
