Still Seeking Justice is a new Voices for Justice series created to reconnect with families previously featured on the show, learn what has changed, and determine how we can help now.

In this first installment, Sarah speaks with Bonnie Bell, whose sister Danielle disappeared from Cantonment, Florida, at just fourteen years old in September 2001.

Bonnie shares major developments since Danielle’s original episode, including new private investigators, dozens of leads generated through media coverage, a recently completed search, and two additional locations she hopes will soon be searched.

Bonnie also discusses her effort to establish Danielle’s Law. The proposed initiative calls for urgent and consistent responses when children disappear, the elimination of the runaway label, trauma informed training for law enforcement, standardized investigative questions, and accountability when a guardian delays reporting a missing child.
