Country Jobs Versus City Life
Charlotte, Charlie and Millie debate the pros and cons of nannying in the city versus the countryside.
From the convenience of public transport and vibrant social opportunities to the freedom, space and slower pace of rural life, each setting offers its own unique advantages and challenges. The ladies explore how location can impact a Nanny's work-life balance, social life and even their dating prospects.
They also discuss whether city or country roles are more effective at preventing burnout, if one lifestyle is truly more relaxing than the other, and how a Nanny's autonomy can differ depending on their environment. Do children enjoy greater independence in the countryside, or does city living offer its own freedoms?
The conversation also touches on budgets, expectations and family dynamics, asking whether country roles tend to be more down-to-earth and how this can influence the nannying experience.
Charlotte, Charlie and Millie compare two very different ways of life and consider which setting might be the best fit for both Nannies and the families they support.

Have you ever been in a position where you are wanting to reduce the hours you’re currently employed to do? I am really stuck. I want to reduce my hours but I know it'll be a pain in the neck for my employers. I know that they work full time and I know they need me 5 days a week. It's just guilt now that's holding me back. I want to basically reduce my hours to do 3 days a week, maybe 4. I really don't know what to do or how to approach the situation. Please help!
